Protocol 01

Plagiarism Standards

BDSU-JMS defines plagiarism as the appropriation of another person's ideas, processes, results, or words without giving appropriate credit. This includes self-plagiarism (text recycling) where significant portions of the author's previous work are reused without citation.

  • check_circle Mosaic Plagiarism: Borrowing phrases from a source without using quotation marks.
  • check_circle Accidental Plagiarism: Neglecting to cite sources or misquoting by oversight.
Protocol 02

Authorship & Credit

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors.

Conflict Disclosure

All authors must disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. Examples of potential conflicts of interest which should be disclosed include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, and paid expert testimony.

Reporting Research Misconduct

If you suspect a breach of ethics or plagiarism in a published article or a manuscript under review, please notify the Editorial Board immediately. All reports are handled with strict confidentiality.
